WS302 is based on the LoRaWAN protocol (Class A) that can support long-range transmission with very low power, giving it a multi-year battery life using the replaceable 3.6V lithium battery, even during regular reporting intervals. Reporting threshold and interval adjustments allow users to make tradeoffs between battery lifespan and monitoring rates to suit varying deployment requirements.

Strong construction allows the WS302 to operate stably in tough environments, from -20°C to 60°C operating temperature range and humidity tolerance of up to 95% RH (non-condensing). The device is CE, FCC, and RoHS certified to meet worldwide safety and quality requirements.

Tamper detection and battery status reporting are integrated, enabling facility managers to ensure system integrity and conduct proactive maintenance. Its compact form factor with adhesive or screw mounting capability allows easy and discreet installation in conference rooms, factories, or outside in public places.
