The Saramonic UwMic9 Camera-Mount Wireless Cardioid Handheld Microphone System offers vloggers, mobile journalists, and content creators an easy-to-use, quality-sounding, and flexible UHF system that compresses a group of advanced features into an affordable solution.

Designed for the tough-and-tumble world of production, the all-metal, lightweight parts feature a handheld transmitter microphone and a two-channel receiver that's plug-and-play into your DSLR/mirrorless camera, recorder, or smartphone (with an optional cable).

With the two-channel receiver, you can grow your system in the future with a second transmitter and microphone (separately available) for 2-person interviews—with no second receiver required.

Easy to use with little setup, the UwMic9 allows you to record clear and natural voice for applications from YouTube vlogs and wedding films to corporate commercials and interviews.

Versatile Use for Clean Sound

The cardioid polar pattern of the microphone rejects unwanted background noise, making it perfect in noisy settings like trade-show floors, crowded public spaces, or sporting events.

The mute/power button combination on the mic can be secured by a switch located in the body to avoid the talent inadvertently muting, switching channels, or powering off.

A rubber ring on the outside edge of the grille stops the HU9 from rolling when it's placed on flat surfaces.

The UWMIC9's Auto Scan function searches through 96 frequencies to select the cleanest available frequency for you, while the infrared sync built in ensures that connecting the transmitter and receiver is easy. Easy-to-view menus and controls, plus backlit LCD screens, enable rapid adjustments under varying lighting conditions.

The transmitter offers two selectable levels of wireless transmission power. The high setting is designed to overcome interference in busy RF environments or when the subject is further from the receiver; the low setting conserves battery power.

A headphone output on the receiver enables real-time audio monitoring, which is especially useful if your camera lacks a headphone output.

Power is supplied via AA batteries for up to 6 hours of battery life.

The system provides a maximum range of up to 330' and accommodates up to 8 mics simultaneously on set.

Expand Your System and Do More

For speech and hands-free interviews, you can expand with the TX9 bodypack transmitter and an omnidirectional lavalier mic.

Adding the TX-XLR9 plug-on transmitter enables you to use any handheld mic of your preference or a shotgun mic for wireless booming. You can even use 48V phantom for condenser mics.

There is a broad choice of optional output cables (separately available) so that you can hook up the receiver to smartphones and tablets using Lightning or USB Type-C connectors or the TRRS headphone socket. There's also a mini-USB cable for action cams and a USB Type-A cable for computers.
