This camera-mount wireless microphone combo kit includes both a bodypack transmitter with an ME 2-II omnidirectional lavalier mic and a handheld transmitter with a dynamic cardioid MMD 835 capsule. The handheld mic is great for fast-paced, on-the-go interviews or environments where quick mic handoffs are needed.

Using the license-free 1.9 GHz frequency band, the AVX system automatically selects the clearest available channel when powered on. This means no manual frequency scanning and no interference from TV or Wi-Fi signals. Pairing the transmitter and receiver takes just a long press of the Pair buttons, once the LED turns green, you're ready to go.

The AVX’s intelligent wireless design constantly monitors for interference. If it detects a problem, it can increase transmission power up to 250mW or switch to a cleaner frequency, all without interrupting your recording. With a range of up to 98 feet, this system keeps your signal strong and stable throughout your shoot.

Smart Power and Long Battery Life

The AVX receiver uses a removable BA 20 lithium-ion battery that charges via USB. The bodypack transmitter includes a BA 30 battery, and the handheld mic uses a BA 10 battery, both provide up to 15 hours of operation. The receiver even powers on and off automatically based on phantom power from your camera, helping conserve energy during long shooting days.

If needed, the receiver can also run from a USB power bank or plug into AC power for continuous use. Spare batteries are available separately for extended shoots.
