Broadcast-Quality Audio Performance with Supercardioid Precision

The system includes the SKM 500 G4 handheld transmitter, paired with the MMD 945 dynamic supercardioid mic capsule, offering focused vocal capture and minimal background pickup. The 945 capsule is built to reject off-axis noise and reduce feedback—ideal for loud stages or busy environments.

The lightweight, all-metal transmitter is equipped with a backlit LCD for status monitoring and intuitive menu access. The mic runs up to 8 hours on two AA batteries and features interchangeable capsule support, so you can easily swap in other Sennheiser dynamic or condenser mic heads to suit your application.

Robust, Rackmount Receiver with Advanced Control

The EM 300-500 G4 true-diversity receiver features a durable metal chassis and operates across a wide 50 MHz UHF tuning range, with 2000 selectable frequencies to avoid interference. Its intuitive OLED display, jog wheel interface, and automatic channel scan make it easy to use in fast-paced environments.

The system supports up to 32 simultaneous wireless channels and includes an Ethernet port for remote control via Sennheiser Wireless Systems Manager (WSM) software—perfect for large-scale productions, AV installations, or touring setups.

Rear panel outputs include both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" connections, and onboard EQ and adjustable output levels ensure easy integration with your PA or recording rig.

Wind Protection for Extreme Conditions

The included Bubblebee Industries Big Windbubble (Long-Haired) windscreen provides industry-leading protection from wind noise without compromising sound quality. Its dense, soft faux fur and internal mesh lining disperse air movement before it reaches the mic, helping maintain clarity in windy outdoor environments. The elasticized base ensures a snug fit on virtually any standard handheld microphone, and the long fur adds a layer of protection over traditional foam windscreens—making it an essential tool for field reporting, outdoor stage work, or remote interviews.

Expandable and Compatible

The EW 500 G4-945 is backward-compatible with all previous Evolution Wireless generations (G1/G2/G3/G4), as well as EW 100 and EW 300 components. This makes it easy to integrate into existing systems or scale up your audio setup.

For further flexibility, the handheld transmitter supports a range of interchangeable capsules including the MMD 835, MMD 845, MMD 935, MME 865, and MMD 42. You can also pair the receiver with Sennheiser’s bodypack transmitters for use with lavalier, headset, or instrument mics.
