Sennheiser EW 300 G4-BASE COMBO Wireless Microphone System with Handheld and Bodypack Transmitters (AW+ 470–558 MHz)
The Sennheiser EW 300 G4-BASE COMBO is a flexible and dependable wireless microphone system tailored for professional use in corporate, educational, and institutional environments. Whether you're speaking in a boardroom, teaching in a lecture hall, or presenting at a conference, this dual-transmitter system gives you the freedom to choose between handheld and bodypack options—all in one easy-to-manage setup.
Built for reliable performance and quick setup, this system includes the robust EM 300-500 G4 true-diversity receiver, a bodypack transmitter (SK 300 G4-RC), and a handheld transmitter (SKM 300 G4-S). The receiver is housed in a rugged metal half-rack chassis and offers a wide 88 MHz tuning range with up to 3520 selectable UHF frequencies. It automatically scans for the cleanest available channel, ensuring strong, interference-free signal transmission across busy RF environments.
The EM 300-500 G4 features a high-contrast OLED screen and intuitive jog wheel, allowing for quick adjustments and easy menu navigation. The system includes both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" outputs, a headphone monitoring jack with volume control, and rackmount hardware for seamless integration into your AV setup. It also supports network-based monitoring and control through Sennheiser’s Wireless Systems Manager (WSM) and Control Cockpit software, giving you real-time access to system status, frequencies, and battery levels on a desktop or mobile device.
What sets this combo apart is its dual-transmitter configuration. You get both a bodypack and a handheld transmitter, though only one can be used at a time. This offers outstanding flexibility for teams that need to switch between hands-free and handheld presentation styles without the hassle of reconfiguring their setup.
The SK 300 G4-RC bodypack transmitter is lightweight, remote-controllable, and built with a rugged metal housing. It’s ready to pair with any compatible lavalier or headset microphone of your choice (sold separately), making it ideal for presenters, educators, or performers who prefer a hands-free experience. A 2.5mm jack supports an optional remote mute switch (RMS 1), while programmable mute functions and infrared sync simplify operation and setup. Power is supplied by two AA batteries or the optional BA 2015 rechargeable Accupack.
The SKM 300 G4-S handheld transmitter features an interchangeable mic capsule design, allowing you to select the perfect capsule for your needs. It supports Sennheiser’s full lineup of dynamic and condenser capsules, including options like the MMD 835, MMD 845, MME 865, MMD 935, MMD 945, and MMD 42. With selectable RF output levels of 10, 30, or 50 milliwatts and a range of up to 330 feet, the handheld mic is ready for large stages, lecture halls, and auditoriums. The transmitter’s backlit LCD, adjustable gain, and lockable controls provide a dependable, user-friendly experience for professionals at any skill level.
Both transmitters deliver up to eight hours of operation on standard AA batteries, and both are compatible with optional rechargeable Accupacks and quick-charging accessories for streamlined battery management.
Like the rest of the Evolution Wireless G4 series, this system is backward-compatible with earlier G1, G2, and G3 receivers and transmitters, as well as EW 100 and EW 500 components. That means you can expand your setup or upgrade equipment while keeping your existing infrastructure in place.
The EM 300-500 G4 receiver can also be integrated directly into Sennheiser’s LSP 500 PRO wireless speaker system for complete cable-free PA setups. If you need to build a larger multi-mic system, the receiver’s detachable BNC antennas can be used with remote antennas and splitters like the ASA 214. Optional directional antennas, such as the A 2003 UHF, and omnidirectional A 1031-U models can further extend your wireless coverage and protect against RF interference.
Sennheiser also offers high-performance lavalier and headset microphones such as the ME 2-II and the SL Headmic 1, making it easy to customize your audio setup for speech, teaching, or live presentations.
With its smart combination of flexibility, reliability, and expandability, the Sennheiser EW 300 G4-BASE COMBO is a powerful choice for organizations that need a wireless mic system capable of adapting to multiple use cases—without compromising on sound quality or control.
