Saramonic SR-WM2100 Overview

The Saramonic SR-WM2100 is a compact, camera-mount digital wireless microphone system with two lavalier mics and just one receiver. It provides vloggers, mobile journalists, and videographers with a clear-sounding, easy-to-use system that packs a set of versatile features into a cost-effective solution for interviews, vlogging, live streaming, and virtual meetings with two people talking simultaneously—directly to a mirrorless/DSLR camera or an iOS/Android smartphone/tablet equipped with a headphone jack.

The SR-WM2100 has two bodypack transmitters, each with its own omnidirectional lavalier mics. The transmitters have a line-level input that allows you to wirelessly record the output of a smartphone, audio mixer, or portable recorder to your camera—perfect for live streaming.

The system also includes a camera-mount receiver that has a gain control to level the recording on your camera. A headphone jack allows you to listen to the audio from both transmitters in real time. With an auto-scan feature, the receiver will automatically scan and select a clean transmission frequency to prevent unwanted dropouts. Large, adjustable antennas and a 5mW RF output power on the transmitters ensure clear audio at a distance of up to 230' (line-of-sight). For quick setup time, the transmitters pair automatically with the receiver.

The system is nicely powered by AA batteries, so you won't have to keep track of charging it before you can use it. You can have about 20 hours of non-stop use with fully charged batteries. Four SR-WM2100 systems can be used at the same time in the same place if you need more audio channels.

Two Microphones into One Receiver

The two-channel receiver saves you space on your shooting rig by having one receiver receive signals from both mic/transmitters at the same time.

The receiver has a shoe mount adapter for your camera.

The audio from both microphones is mixed into a mono signal, so both mics will be heard on the left and right channel of your camera.
