System Configuration

The Blink 500 ProX B2R has two small clip-on transmitters with their own integrated omnidirectional microphone and 8GB internal storage, so you can attach them quickly to subjects for fast, run-and-gun shoots. For an even more covert appearance, plug in the two supplied omni lavalier microphones with windshields into the 3.5mm input jacks of the transmitters. The small two-channel receiver has a 3.5mm output jack for camera applications and a headphone jack to listen to your audio in real time.

The receiver's clip makes camera mounting simple, mounting onto your camera shoe with ease. The system is immediately usable out of the box for anyone (thanks to fast, one-click pairing) and gives stable transmission with a clean sound up to 328' distance. Built-in rechargeable batteries offer up to 10 hours of runtime. Batteries can be recharged via USB or by simply placing transmitters and receiver into the included fast-charging case.

Onboard Transmitter Recording

TXR has 8GB of onboard memory to store 14.8 hours of 16- or 24-bit audio at 48 kHz in lossless WAV formats. An inset pushbutton switch is available to turn recording on and off and will not be affected by jostling of the transmitter. The battery inside the transmitter will last for 11 hours when it is not being used for recording. When the onboard recording is enabled, the battery life decreases to 8.5 hours.

The receiver has a switchable mono/stereo output mode, which enables it to correctly feed signal from a single transmitter into both of your device's input channels (through mono mode) or from two transmitters into two separate input channels of your device (through stereo mode).

Stable and Easy-to-use 2.4 GHz Digital Wireless

Whereas standard analog wireless systems are vulnerable to TV and radio wave interference, the Blink 500 ProX digital system does not succumb to this by being on the 2.4 GHz band, which takes up frequencies above television, radio broadcast frequencies, and UHF wireless mic systems.

In the 2.4 GHz band, the Blink 500 ProX has automatic channel-hopping to help fight noise and dropouts at a line-of-sight range of up to 328 feet, twice that of the regular Blink 500. For best performance, environments with minimal Wi-Fi / 2.4 GHz traffic and few physical obstructions are ideal.

Colorful OLED Displays

Each Blink 500 ProX transmitter and receiver comes with a high-contrast OLED display to provide clear import setting visibility indoors and outdoors. The transmitter screen indicates real-time monitoring of the input, input-gain level, mute icon, wireless strength, and battery level. The receiver screen indicates the battery level, mono/stereo icon, and headphone level along with the transmitters' real-time level meter, mute, battery level, and wireless link strength.
