System Configuration

The Blink 500 ProX B2 is comprised of two small clip-on transmitters, each with an integrated omnidirectional microphone, so you can easily clip them onto subjects for rapid, run-and-gun-style shoots. For a more inconspicuous appearance, you can plug the two supplied Omni Lavalier microphones with windshields into the transmitters' 3.5mm input jacks. The small two-channel receiver has a 3.5mm output jack for camera applications and a headphone plug to hear your audio in real time. Camera mounting is simplified by the clip on the receiver, which securely mounts on your camera shoe. The system is out-of-the-box usable for everyone (due to rapid one-click pairing) and has reliable transmission with un-muddled sound up to 328' away. Rechargeable batteries built in offer up to 10 hours of use in the transmitters and receiver. The batteries may be recharged through USB or by plugging the transmitters and receiver into the provided fast-charging case.

Stable and Easy-to-Use 2.4 GHz Digital Wireless

Whereas standard analog wireless systems are prone to interference from television and radio signals, the Blink 500 ProX digital system does not suffer from that because it uses the 2.4 GHz band, which holds frequencies above those of television, radio broadcasts, and UHF wireless microphone systems.

In the 2.4 GHz band, the Blink 500 ProX features automatic channel-hopping to reduce noise and dropouts at a line-of-sight range of up to 328 feet, twice the maximum range of the original Blink 500. For best performance, environments with minimal Wi-Fi / 2.4 GHz traffic and little physical interference are ideal.
