This headset features a closed-back headphone design that offers effective noise isolation, helping users stay focused even in loud outdoor settings. Integrated ActiveGard limiting technology protects your hearing by reducing sudden audio peaks. With three selectable attenuation levels (Off, 95 dB, or 110 dB), it balances safety and performance even under high-decibel conditions.
The HMD 26 S is equipped with a dynamic hypercardioid boom microphone that captures detailed voice audio up to 18 kHz. The microphone includes a shockmounted capsule to reduce structure-borne noise and delivers broadcast-quality sound, making it reliable for both voiceover and communication use in the field.
Its modular design gives professionals the flexibility to adapt the headset to their setup. The HMD 26 S is compatible with a variety of optional cables and boom arms, allowing easy integration into different production environments. The microphone boom arm can be worn on either side for user preference. Please note that a compatible cable is required for operation and is not included with the headset.
