This peer-to-peer wireless connection ensures a direct and reliable signal between transmitter and receiver, with minimal setup required and no need for manual frequency coordination.

Efficient Power Management for Long Shoots

The AVX receiver runs on a removable lithium-ion battery that charges via USB. The transmitter uses the BA 30 rechargeable battery pack, which provides up to 15 hours of runtime on a single charge. To save battery life, the receiver powers on and off automatically when it detects phantom power from your camera.

For longer shoots, the receiver can also run on a USB power bank or through AC power. Additional BA 20 batteries are available separately so you can keep a spare ready to go in the field.
