Libec ALX Camera Slider Kit Overview

The Libec TH-Z S4 Kit is a fully flexible system with a fluid head. It can be directly mounted on the 75mm tripod bowl or attached directly to the slider. This is because the head has a dual-function design, and it consists of half ball with a flat base. The slider too has a 75mm half-ball, and it too can be mounted directly on the tripod. Its fluid head boasts a payload of 11 lb; besides, it offers fixed counterbalance and drag, and an easy snap-in camera plate system is also built in.
The slider has 12" travel distance, and the tripod can extend between 23 to 58.5".

Libec TH-Z H Fluid Head
It is a compact dual-function tripod head with 11 lb payload and fixed counterbalance and drag from Libec. It features a native 75mm half ball and has a flat base with a 3/8"-16 mounting thread on the bottom of the half ball. It's directly compatible with 75mm bowl tripods but can also be mounted directly on sliders and other supports via the flat base. A tie-down is included for securing it to tripods.

The head has a snap-in camera plate system that lets you attach the included camera plate from above rather than slide it in from the rear. The plate has a sliding range of 1.2" once secured. It comes with a 1/4"-20 mounting screw and an anti-twist video pin beside it. A long rosette-mount pan bar is included and an optional second one is also supported.

Libec TH-Z T Aluminum Tripod with Mid-Level Spreader (75mm Bowl)
The Libec TH-Z T is a 2-stage aluminum tripod with a 75mm bowl base and built-in mid-level spreader. It supports up to 55 lb and is adjustable from a minimum height of 23" to a maximum height of 58.5". The integrated mid-level spreader is adjustable telescopically.

Libec ALX S4 Slider (15.5")
The Libec ALX S4 is a 15.5" long camera slider that features an integrated 75mm ball base with a flat bottom, allowing it to be mounted directly to 75mm bowl fluid heads as well as flat-base heads. When used on tabletop or flat surface using, the slider has a maximum load capacity of 33 lb. For smooth and wobble-free operation, the carriage features eight roller bearings positioned on the rail top and along the sides at angles. A spring-loaded friction knob allows you to adjust slide tension, while a brake knob will lock the carriage in place at any point on the rails. Using a supplied hexagon wrench, you can adjust the pushing force that the ball bearing exerts on the rail.

On both ends of the slider, there are 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads and a rosette for mounting accessories. If you plan to use the slider on the ground or tabletop, the slider has built-in legs with height-adjustable feet to match uneven terrain. For storage space, the legs fold up against the side of the slider, held in place by thumb knobs. Unscrewing the knobs completely allows you to detach the legs completely and swap out the 15.5" rail for separately available 32.6" or 47" rail lengths.
