Libec NH30 Tripod System Overview

Smooth pan and tilt with ease with this NX-300MC Carbon Fiber Tripod System with NH30 motor to carry your small camera setup (up to 22lb). The products Libec sell include: Head, Mid-Spreader, Feet, Long Plate & Case. Included in the NX-300MC system are the NH30 dual 75mm bowl/flat base video head, an RT20C carbon fiber tripod, the mid-level spreader BR-2B, a large rubber foot set, and an accompanying RC-20 carry case.

The head's base can accommodate the tripod' s 75mm bowl, which is also compatible with flat mount tripods. The equipment comes with a continuous pan/tilt drag and counterbalance, reversible quick release plate, illuminated bubble level (UV-LED), and pan bar. It also includes the Long Plate S to support and balance larger heavier rigs. The carbon fiber tripod is a two-stage design that weighs only 3.5 lb and can reach.

The tripod's mid-level spreader is located at its center to provide additional stability, and a rubber foot set is included to keep the legs on uneven or flat ground. The carry case is responsible for storing and carrying the entire system.

Libec NH30. The 75mm Ball/Flat Base Video Head with Pan Handle is designed to hold a 22-pound payload. What does this head type mean?

Designed to hold small camera rigs up to 22 lb each, the NH30 is designed specifically for this purpose. Libec's video head with pan handle and 75mm Ball/Flat Base has a single ball/flat mount. Why? Either a standard 75mm bowl or the flat mount with nut 3/8 "-16 screw can be used for the base of the tripod. You can use either a bowl mount or essentially any head you want, and you have both options.

For balance, the NH30 head has a snap-on/off camera plate that slides up to 1.2 " of fore or achived adjustment and two options for the camera mounting screws: 1/4 inch (20") and 3/8" (16") sizes. To achieve the optimal balance, the camera's screw and locating pin can be moved to align with the plate. Smooth motion is made possible through the pan/tilt drag controls and continuous counterbalance once the camera is in equilibrium. Mounting a light, monitor, or extension arm can be done with 1/4 "-20 and 3/8 "-16 threads on the side.

The NH30 also comes with its own pan handle, which can be attached to one of the mounts so that it is placed on either the right side of head or left. Despite the low light conditions, the bubble level LED makes it possible for the camera to be leveled on uneven surfaces.

Adding a durable and lightweight tripod to your camera setup is the Libec RT20C 2-Stage Lightweight Carbon Fiber Tripod with 75mm Bowl. Various fluid heads can be mounted on the new RT20C with a 75mm bowl fitting. The weight of the carbon fiber legs is only 3.5 lb, making them lightweight. With 2-stage legs that are secured by twist levers, the height of the structure ranges from 14.6 to 60.6 ". Neither the rubber feet nor the spreader are included in this tripod.

A combination of materials is used to make the case impervious to water, wear and tear causing water or light and moisture; the non-padded lining provides a comfortable fit that allows you to safely remove your tripod without any visible scratches from the surface.
