Built to handle small camera rigs up to 22 lb, the Libec NH30 75mm Ball/Flat Base Video Head with Pan Handle comes with a combined ball/flat mount design. The base plate of the tripod can accommodate either a regular 75mm bowl or a flat mount with a 3/8"-16 screw. The ability to have both options gives you the flexibility to move the head from a tripod with a bowl mount to a flat mount slider.
For proper balance, the NH30 head has a snap-on/off camera plate with up to 1.2\" of fore/aft adjustment, and it has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera mounting screw options. The screw and the locating pin are adjustable to position the plate on the camera to get the best balance possible. After balancing the camera, the smooth movement is provided by the continuous counterbalance and pan/tilt drag controls. The side has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for mounting a range of accessories like a light, monitor, or extension arm.
With the NH30 comes a pan handle that has the capability to be mounted on the right or left side of the head by being screwed onto one of the mounts. The bubble level that is illuminated with LEDs assists in leveling the camera on an uneven plane even in low light conditions.
