Libec ALX Camera Slider Overview

Libec ALX S4 is a 15.5" long camera slider with an integrated 75mm ball base flat bottom, capable of being attached directly to flat-base heads or 75mm bowl fluid heads. When sliding on a tabletop or flat surface usage, the load capacity is a maximum of 33 lb. For free rolling and smoothness, together with wobble-free operation, the carriage provides eight roller bearings placed on top of the rail and along both sides at angled positions. Adjust slide tension via a spring-loaded friction knob while locking the carriage in position on the rails via a brake knob at any desired position. Set pushing force exercised by the ball bearing on the rail using an included hexagon wrench.

At both ends of the slider are 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads along with a rosette that is used for mounting different accessories. In the event that the slider will be mounted on tabletop or ground level, the slider comes with an integral leg of height-adjusting feet to level uneven surfaces. The legs have fold-up position against the slider's side as part of space-saving storage; they are clamped in with thumb knobs. Removing the knobs entirely permits you to remove the legs entirely and replace the 15.5" rail with individually purchasable 32.6" or 47" rail lengths.
